Jackass Forever Film Series, a perfect combination of stunt show, comedy and slapstick genres, have always been a laughing stock for many people. The actors playing pranks on each other and performing stunts, the audience laughing either due to excitement or in shock.
Jackass Forever has been directed and produced by Jeff Tremaine, who is the executive producer on many other television reality shows such as Rob and Big (2006), Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory (2009), Nitro Circus (2009), and comedy show Adult Swim’s Loiter Squad (2012). These movies always received mixed reviews, and Jackass was always a controversy amongst critics due to its indecency and dangerous behaviour.

- Jackass: The Movie (2002) – Released on 25 October, 2002 and directed by Jeff Tremaine, this comedic documentary includes Knoxville along with stuntmen, skateboarders and other crew members, pranking each other, whether it be childish acts or some dangerous risky stunts.
- Jackass Number Two (2006)- Jackass came back with the stunt performers doing some dumbfounding stunts and they also show the difficulties they had to go through while filming.
- Jackass 2.5 (2007) – This time around they shed light upon some irresponsible, dangerous, gross stunts that were taken from the shoot of Jackass 2. The cast and crew open up about their roles in this mess.
- Jackass 3D (2010)- Johnny and the rest of the fearless crew participate in another round of life-threatening pranks.
- Jackass 3.5 (2011)- Knoxville unveiled various unused stunts and antics that were shot during the production of ‘Jackass 3’ but didn’t make it to the film.
- Jackass Present: Bad Grandpa (2013) – This was actually a spinoff, where Knoxville (casted as Irving Zisman) takes his young grandson on a trip in which they encounter many hilarious things.
- Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa .5 (2014) – Irving Zisman (played by Johnny Knoxville), as a grandparent, does not think twice before embarking on an inappropriate journey with his grandson Billy.

The production of Jackass 4 was already confirmed on December 19, 2019 and was set to be released on March 5, 2021. But then later the release date was delayed to September 3, 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic. But then due to the continued pandemic, it was further delayed to October 22, 2021. In September, 2021, after a long wait, the film was finally delayed to February 4, 2022, which is now the release date.

Jackass Forever trailer
An official trailer came on July 20, 2021, which showed the reunion of Steve-O and rest of the gang with a few glimpses of their pranks and stunts. Recently on January 10, 2022 came the final trailer stating, “The wait is over!”
It showed Johnny nailing Steve-O with a soccer ball as he gets out of his trailer, Knoxville gets shot out of a giant cannon “with wings”, bodies fly through the air. In one moment, Johnny asks the Texas rat snake handler if it’s venomous, pure comedy gold, and then that snake is biting a mime on the face.
We see a treadmill stunt where Steve- O and Johnny are dressed as band drummers and thanks to this, they both end up at hospital. A portable toilet blows up as it says in the music “If you’re gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough”. Ehren is told that he will be facing a lightweight, but instead ends up facing Francis Ngannou, a heavyweight and then gets to taste a blow. Machine Gun Kelly gets a big hard slap on his face, while we see people playing with electricity, and then the grandpa is on fire.
When Preston Lacy and two others ask for a coffee and get punched by airbags and then when the second airbag pops out, quite a hard hit. Machine Kelly performs the bicycle slap stunt. McGhehey is getting covered in honey and salmon, tied on a chair, only to find himself locked in a room, but he has got a roommate, and that is a real bear!
